Intro to Video Production with Zachary Sigelko
In this 8 week class, you will learn how to turn your ideas into professional-looking videos! This class focuses on the basics of camera work, lighting, sound production, and directing.
Zachary Sigelko is a director and cinematographer whose work has been featured by the Atlantic, the Washington Post, Polygon, and the Chicago Tribune. He’s also produced videos for Buzzfeed, Cards Against Humanity, DePaul University, and the National Immigrant Justice Center. He is a semi-proud USC graduate and a Chicago native.
When: Saturdays from 12-3pm beginning March 3rd.
Where: 2nd Floor Event Space (Located on the 2nd floor)
Writing Comedy Videos with Jeremy Sender
Leave the 4-week session with two polished sketch scripts! This class focuses on screenwriting format, writing visually, and fleshing out premises.
Jeremy is a comedian, filmmaker, and INTJ personality type according to an online quiz. He worked as a script reader for The Jim Henson Company before renouncing Los Angeles and moving to Chicago. Currently, he is the creative director of the iO Comedy Network, a writer/director for the Network Team “Todd’s Friend Todd,” a director at ADPT Productions, and a member of the Harold team First Kiss. He studied film at Emerson College.
When: Wednesdays from 6:30-9:30pm begining February 28th.
