Our alumni are making their mark all over the creative world! Here are some of the latest highlights.

Our beloved Abby McEnany’s creation, Work in Progress has been lauded as “The Most Radical Queer Show on TV,” (IndieWire) “A Brave, Painful, Hilarious Queer Comedy,” (The Guardian) and one of the top shows breaking representation boundaries on television (Redbook). Now the Chicago Sun Times is reporting it has been picked up for a second season! We can’t wait to see more of this beautiful story and our wonderful friend!

There’s no rest for the extremely talented, as Adam McKay takes the helm of the television adaptation of Academy Award Winning Parasite for HBO (The Hollywood Reporter & IndieWire), where McKay has already been executive producer on the Succession. The Hollywood Reporter also reports that McKay also just landed Jennifer Lawrence to star in his latest film, Don’t Look Up, an apocalyptic comedy he penned and will direct.

Shantira Jackson, continuing to make us proud, has landed the The Disruptors Fellowship from the Center for Cultural Power (IndieWire) on the heels of working on the Saved By the Bell reboot.

The ever prolific, Kay Cannon is directing a reimagining of Cinderella, starring Camilla Cabello according to The Hollywood Reporter

David Koechner joins the cast of new Christian film industry parody, Faith Based (MoveHole)

You’ll be able to see Scott Adsit in the new dramedy, 10 Things to Do Before You Breakup (MENAFN)
